Water Damage/Floods
When a flood or water damage occurs time is of the essence. The longer you delay extraction and drying, the longer the drying process will take and the more physical damage will occur. Immediate action is necessary to reduce current damage and to prevent additional or secondary damage. Our technicians are on call 24 hours of each and every day, holidays included, and response time is usually less than one hour in Sheridan and Johnson counties.
Water is an essential part of life; however, water in the wrong place and in excessive amounts will cause damage to contents and structural components of your home or business. Captain Clean has the specialized tools to remove water from carpet and pad and even from under hard wood flooring. Our technicians are highly trained and experienced in the art of restorative drying. Our focus is to return your home to a safe environment as quickly and economically as possible. Proper drying of your home and contents prevents secondary damage (mold) and restores items to a normal useful life. In fact, properly dried carpet is somewhat stronger than before the water damage.1 Restorative drying is a fraction of the cost of replacement (usually much less than 10%).
Water Damage Do’s-n-Don’ts
Water is an essential part of many cleaning processes but under some circumstances, although it usually cleans, it can damage articles. The harmful effect of water is sharply reduced by prompt and wise action. Some procedures are obvious; others require foresight and experience.
